Our staff recently attended the annual Colorado Vision Summit in Denver, Colorado! This meeting alternates its venue each year between Denver and Steamboat Springs. While we had a blast last year in Steamboat, the close location of this year’s Denver meeting was definitely convenient.
Dr. Abert and Dr. Pedroza attended classes including a business class, “Advanced Procedures in Optometric Primary Care,” “OCT: Not Just for Specialty Clinics Anymore,” “The Anterior Segment Assault: Treating Common and Uncommon Conditions,” “Update on Ocular Surface Disease,” “A Lifetime of Lens Wear: The Keys to Making it Happen,” and “Pharmacology from a Mostly Practical Internist.” The classes were a great opportunity for our doctors to learn about new techniques and studies on ocular disease, contact lenses, and preventive eye care.
Our office manager Sonya, optical manager Troy, and patient relations expert Serena also attended the Vision Summit. They took classes including medical terminology, advanced patient care, improving office efficiencies, working with pediatric patients, blue light and digital eye strain, and frame adjustment and repair. Please enjoy these pictures from our weekend of education!
What a great meeting! We look so forward to next year’s meeting in Steamboat Springs! To schedule your yearly eye check-up at Vista Eye Care, please call us at (303) 450-2020 or use the link below to schedule online:
