After a hectic couple of weeks, we are now completely moved in to our new office at 13695 Colorado Boulevard. Our new office has lots of great features to help us care for our patients. It took about two years for our building to be built, and we took lots of pictures along the way:
Here is the empty lot before construction started. The lot had never been developed in recent times, though we were told that it once was the location of an old farmhouse.
After a year of delays, construction finally started…sort of. It managed to rain the weekend after the first round of earthwork, flooding the work site. The water needed to be pumped away to allow foundation work to continue.
The extensive foundation work will assure that the building remains stable over the years. The steelwork directly connected to the foundation forms the second entrance to the office in this view looking north-east.
The floor is installed and the walls are moving up in this view of the interior space.
Dr. Brian Abert and his wife Dr. Deanna Pedroza pose in front of Vista Eye Care’s new building.
The walls and roof were complete, though the parking lot remained a notorious mud pit.
Stucco work is complete and steel work is moving along as the parking lot is graded in preparation for asphalt.
The building looks great and landscaping is complete just in time for Winter.
Interior work moved along in our optical department.
Walls are painted and ready to go as Broomfield Sign Company installs our logo behind our reception area.
Our outdoor neon sign is re-installed having been taken down from our previous location and refurbished.
What a busy weekend! Dr. Abert, Dr. Pedroza, and their daughter Sophia toast apple cider after a crazy weekend of moving.
Vista Eye Care is open, and ready to care for you and your family’s eyes!
What a nice way to kick off the New Year! Please swing by and visit our office -we look forward to seeing you!
