Dr. Brian Abert, O.D., FAAO (Contact Us)
Dr. Abert graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a degree in Biological Sciences. He graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry and did his residency at the West Los Angeles Veteran’s Healthcare Center. Dr. Abert founded Vista Eye Care in 2010 with the goal of creating a family eye care practice offering a wide variety of eye care services to the community. In his free time, Dr. Abert enjoys hiking, running, and cooking. Dr. Abert is a member of the American Academy of Optometry, the American Optometric Association, and the Colorado Optometric Association. In 2009, Dr. Abert became a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Deanna Pedroza, O.D. (Contact Us)
Dr. Pedroza graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in Organismal Biology. She graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry. Dr. Pedroza enjoys working with kids, and is uniquely talented at children’s eye care. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and fitness. Dr. Pedroza is a member of the American Academy of Optometry, the American Optometric Association, Colorado Optometric Association, and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.

Sherri has almost 30 years of experience in the optical field. She is an American Board of Opticianry Certified Optician, a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant, and a member of the Colorado Optometric Association. Sherri has a great talent at finding the perfect frame for each patient and since she hand-picks every frame in our Optical Department, she can help you choose the frame that best fits your face and lifestyle. Sherri enjoys the mountains, scrapbooking and spending time with her husband and pets. She cherishes the little time she gets with her grown children.

Valencia has extensive experience with vision and medical insurance. She oversees Vista Eye Care’s insurance billing and manages our schedule system as well as all patient relations. Her friendly voice and smiling face are among the best parts of your visit to Vista Eye Care. In her spare time, Valencia enjoys shopping and spending time with her friends and family.

Hara receive her B.A. degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder in Integrative Physiology. She is an aspiring optometrist and someday would love to help children see better! In her spare time, she enjoys shopping, working out, and spending time with friends and family.
